Anyone for Tiramisu? 😍 Another weekend in lockd Anyone for Tiramisu? 😍 Another weekend in lockdown rolls around and all I want to do is be out socialising and enjoying good food with friends. Alas 'tis not to be for a while yet, so instead I'm bringing the good food home tonight! πŸ™Œ β€’ I'm excited to enjoy some food from @ginomyrestaurant using their new GINODACAMPO2GO service. It's going to be a much needed treat after a super busy week. Now, is 3pm too early to start drinking prosecco? Asking for a friend. πŸ₯‚ #previouslygiftedexperience
'I understand that I will never understand. Howeve 'I understand that I will never understand. However, I stand.' ❀ β€’ I've been struggling to know what to post this week with everything that is going on in the world. Aside from being very busy with work, I have been overwhelmed with sadness and shock at the horrifying murder of George Floyd and the following events in America. There is so much brutality and sorrow I am seeing but there is also a lot of love and support and attempting to understand one another. I hope that this is a sign of a better future where black people can truly feel like their lives matter, because they do. They really do so don't ever doubt that. I, with my white privilege, have gone through my life unaware of the injustices that still affect black citizens to this day. And now seeing it all come to a head in America is a big wake up call. How can I do better to support others? It is time to educate myself and be more aware and STAND UP if I see anything, to challenge people when they say harmful things and to listen and to learn. #BlackLivesMatter
