And just like that, it's the weekend again! πŸ™Œ And just like that, it's the weekend again! πŸ™Œ With a minimum of 6 weeks left in lockdown before I might be able to get back to work in the studio and not from home, I am counting down the weeks and going to try keep myself occupied in the build up. After last week's suuuuuper lazy weekend, I am going to start tackling the garden this weekend. (Hopefully it will be ready for when we eventually get some warmer days...) I've never worked on anything garden related before in my life so if anyone has any tips for painting, deweeding, jetwashing etc please send them my way πŸ™ Happy weekend! 🌱
Living that slippers life every damn day πŸ™Œ Tod Living that slippers life every damn day πŸ™Œ Today turned into an impromptu fun and varied day, which is a welcome blessing compared to the mundane day-to-day living of lockdown at the moment. I started the day bright and early with a Zoom chat with some sixth form students at a Performing Arts school in Telford all about attending drama school. Then I wrote a new story for @sleepiestapp which left me feeling all kinds of zen. Then I headed over to see my bubble and my sister styled my new Princess Rapunzel wig beautifully for some Zoom workshops next week, and we tried on my grandma and mum's old wedding dresses and hilarity and lockdown madness ensued. πŸ˜‚ Plus I had some baby snuggles thrown in for good measure... I needed today! Today was a good day for my soul. I hope yours has been too. ❀

Another week of lockdown, another week working fro Another week of lockdown, another week working from home. 🏑 Now that I have my little home office set up I can put my living room back to being what it was always meant to be: my relaxing space! I'm looking forward to curling up on the sofa tonight with a glass of wine and continue watching Netflix's 'Surviving Death' documentary series. πŸ™Œ Anyone else watching it? I didn't sleep last night because I was so convinced a ghost was in my room πŸ˜‚
You'd have thought I would have put on some normal You'd have thought I would have put on some normal people clothes to take a picture, but NOPE. This is my reality every day right now = slobbing around in my comfies. ✌ PR PRODUCT At least I have some gorgeous @slingsbysocial Spritz Cans to spice up my weekend. I've got a can of Marmalade & Apricot, Damson & Blackberry and my favourite gin, Slingsby Rhubarb & Strawberry, to enjoy. Keep an eye on my stories this evening for my verdicts on the different flavours. Prior warning, I might be a little bit tipsy by the last can... πŸ˜‚ Chin chin! πŸ₯‚
Every week I find that I'm in a new mental state a Every week I find that I'm in a new mental state and need different things. Last week I didn't drink any alcohol and watched lots of movies on an evening, this week I have no patience for TV and crave a drink each night (but I also feel the urge to do yoga every day at the moment so you roll with it). πŸƒ Last week I barely set foot outside, this week I am prioritising a long walk every day. Some weeks I cry every day and feel despair, other weeks I have a bit more of a spring in my step and a 'we'll get through this' attitude. If there's one thing lockdown is teaching me, it is teaching me that feelings are temporary, listening to your body and your mind is really important, and self-care looks different every day. Keep going guys. You are doing the best you can and thats all that matters. Spring is coming. Enjoy your weekend. ❀
