Loving the London Life

I am one of the lucky young people who get to live in London; fresh faced and full of anticipation for the real world after University.

I get to live in a lovely area of South London where I don’t fear that I will be stabbed on my way home, I work in Central London in an office (experiencing the working Londoner life), also getting to experience the Thespian side of London as a wannabe actress attending auditions, and I have the amazing social life of London on my door step. Yet, I  don’t make the most of it!

I go to see shows where and when I can and get to observe events at a distance as I pass on my way to places, but I don’t go actively seeking the adventures of London.

So, why am I telling you this?

Because I have decided to embrace the opportunities that are down here!

I am going to explore, discover and have a brilliant time making the most of London while I’m here.

It’s the typical saying that when you live in London you take for granted that everything is on your doorstep, so you don’t actually experience the tourist attractions and stick to what you know. I was one of them. But not anymore!

My aim is to blog about places I go, things that I see and things I experience.

Too many of us get stuck in a rut when there are hundreds of things to experience on our doorsteps, so hopefully in searching for fulfilment myself, I may give other Londoners inspiration for ways to shake up their mundane working week, or maybe even give ideas to people planning a visit to London. Or maybe nobody else will read this and it will just be a kind-of diary of my stay in London. Whichever way, I’m sure I’ll be happy when I’m having such an awesome time in the capital!

I hope you enjoy this section of my blog and it provides you with ideas for enjoying and appreciating being in one of the most exciting cities in the world!

    Primrose Hill – sunset

Proud in Camden – a ware house that does 2 beers for a fiver and feeds you live acoustic music, there is also an outside area. It’s beautiful.

Somerset House – fountains in summer, ice rink by winter.
