Finding The Fun In October
With so many stressful things popping up at the moment – The Third US Presidential Debate being one, and the latest series of American Horror Story being the second, I figured I should take a moment to appreciate the fun things I am loving at the moment.
The Latest Season of South Park
This series is seriously up-to-date in what is happening in the world – namely, the current US Presidential elections, so the episodes are funny and current. I love me some Cartman!
The Music Video for Little Mix’s ‘Hair’
This song will never fail to get me in a good mood for a girl’s night out, and the music video encapsulates that. The video remind us how we make our girly ‘cheer-up nights’ fun; although Little Mix are a lot more glamorous whilst they do it…
Hen Party Planning
Even though I won’t get to attend (the con of being away at sea), a Maid of Honour’s duty never stops, and it is exciting to liaise with back home to arrange a fun celebration for the bride to be! Not to mention I get to try my hand at designing invitations, which is an accomplishment in itself.
When you have an evening to yourself, you order a pizza, open a bottle of wine and a tub of Ben & Jerry’s, and you watch a film. And nothing was calling out to me more, the other night, than High School Musical 3. Sharpay is the best character by far; I’m totally Team Sharpay!
It feels like the universe is calling out to me at the moment, and it’s telling me to adopt a corgi. They are everywhere I turn, and they make me want to cry with cuteness overload whenever I see their little faces. I need some serious puppy cuddles!
$4.50 Frozen Bellini’s
Enough said. And there’s a cat in it!
Boyfriend in Toronto
After a month of not seeing each other, he finally arrives in Toronto today! I cannot wait to explore this wonderful city with him. Soppy. Gross. I know.
My Favourite Books Becoming Movies
Most recently, ‘Girl on the Train‘, which was, thankfully, a good film adaption of the book(!) and next week I can look forward to seeing Dan Brown’s ‘Inferno‘ hit the big screen with Tom Hanks reprising his role. I hope it’s as suspenseful as the book was!
‘Stranger Things’ Halloween Theme
I loved the Netflix series, and now I want to be Eleven for Halloween and host a party with my apartment decorated according to it. And if I have to eat loads of eggo waffles in order to get into the mindset of the character, I think I can suffer for my art…
What things are entertaining you at the moment?
I’d love to hear ideas for new things I can try on for size!
