HI! welcome to Elisha blogs!

Hi, I’m Elisha! A twenty-something girl from Harrogate. Made in Yorkshire, influenced by everything the world has to offer.

I enjoy writing about Northern lifestyle and I love travelling! I am on a mission to find the fun in every-day life and have a specific passion for the theatre, fun days out, amazing food (especially brunch), spa days, writing (duh!), a little bit of fashion, dogs, and drinking cocktails. I hope you enjoy reading my blog!

My home office is complete! 💻 I am loving havi My home office is complete! 💻

I am loving having a dedicated space to work from in my house; it really makes a difference. This space helps me keep in the zone for work and at the end of the day I can shut the door and leave my work behind. It has made a big difference to my mental health while working from home during this lockdown. 🙌

How have you been working from home during this time? I'm really interested to know how parents have managed it while having to homeschool their children at the same time...

Pinch punch, first day of the month! 👊 Well, h Pinch punch, first day of the month! 👊

Well, here we are in March... I definitely didn't think we would be this far into lockdown when restrictions were put in place on the 30th December, but here we are! Hopefully just 6 more weeks of working from my little home office and I can be running around the work building again, seeing other human beings and, who knows, maybe outdoor gatherings with a few friends.

The 6-week countdown begins but it's still a long 6-weeks to power through of this new life as we know it. Stay strong guys! Oh, and stay safe while you're at it too...
And just like that, it's the weekend again! 🙌 And just like that, it's the weekend again! 🙌

With a minimum of 6 weeks left in lockdown before I might be able to get back to work in the studio and not from home, I am counting down the weeks and going to try keep myself occupied in the build up. After last week's suuuuuper lazy weekend, I am going to start tackling the garden this weekend. (Hopefully it will be ready for when we eventually get some warmer days...)

I've never worked on anything garden related before in my life so if anyone has any tips for painting, deweeding, jetwashing etc please send them my way 🙏

Happy weekend! 🌱
Living that slippers life every damn day 🙌 Tod Living that slippers life every damn day 🙌

Today turned into an impromptu fun and varied day, which is a welcome blessing compared to the mundane day-to-day living of lockdown at the moment. I started the day bright and early with a Zoom chat with some sixth form students at a Performing Arts school in Telford all about attending drama school. Then I wrote a new story for @sleepiestapp which left me feeling all kinds of zen. Then I headed over to see my bubble and my sister styled my new Princess Rapunzel wig beautifully for some Zoom workshops next week, and we tried on my grandma and mum's old wedding dresses and hilarity and lockdown madness ensued. 😂 Plus I had some baby snuggles thrown in for good measure... I needed today!

Today was a good day for my soul. I hope yours has been too. ❤
Namastay in bed all weekend ✌ Wishing you all a Namastay in bed all weekend ✌

Wishing you all a relaxing, rejuvenating weekend!
